The most common myth about Astrology is that the subject of Astrology is based on the assumption that everything that happens in life is governed by Destiny. And that Astrology disregards the importance of Free Will in the life of a person. This myth leads many to believe that Astrology can predict "everything" that WILL happen in future.
The truth is that Astrology is only a glimpse into the possibilities that may be presented in the future. Yes, some part of our future is indeed Destiny but the rest is definitely Karmas. Like we always say in our daily lives- Do your Karmas to the best of your ability and you shall meet your Destiny. This effectively is the essence of Astrology.
The promises in a horoscope cannot materialise without the efforts and the free will of the native.
So if the horoscope promises great education, career and money, that does not imply that the person will be able to enjoy all of that without making any effort. All it means is that if the person makes sincere efforts in the direction of achieving those, success will be met.
